In the process of implementing the National Twelfth Five-Year Plan for Drug Safety, all regions have increased the management and deployment of licensed pharmacists; in the process of accelerating transformation and upgrading of the drug circulation industry, we have paid great attention to the role of licensed pharmacists in pharmacy services. This has significantly increased the practice registration rate for licensed pharmacists. 2014 is the fastest growing number of licensed pharmacists in recent years. As of December 31, 2014, there were 166,504 registered pharmacists in the country, accounting for 59.9% of the qualified number. The overall situation showed a benign and orderly development trend, which will also become the new normal for the management of licensed pharmacists in China.

The number of registered pharmacists registered from January to December 2014 increased month by month, with a growth rate of 8.2% in July and an increase of more than 10,000.
(2) The number of licensed pharmacists in Guangdong, Jiangsu and other five provinces exceeds 10,000
In 2014, there were 14 provinces with more than 5,000 registered pharmacists, including 10,000 in Guangdong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong and Henan provinces (see Figure 3). The number of licensed pharmacists in Guangdong increased the most, with an increase of 8,169 from 2013. , an increase of 89.9%. The provinces with 5,000 to 10,000 registered pharmacists are Sichuan, Hebei, Hubei, Liaoning, Anhui, Hunan, Shanxi, Shanghai, and Fujian.
(3) The number of licensed pharmacists per 10,000 population has increased
In 2014, the number of registered pharmacists per 10,000 population in the country was 1.23, and there were 20 provinces with more than one registered pharmacist per 10,000 population. Among them, Tianjin, Zhejiang, Shanghai, and Beijing provinces had more than 10,000 registered pharmacists per registered population. 2 people.
In 2014, the number of registered pharmacists per 10,000 population was significantly higher than that of 0.8 in 2013, but it was still far below the standard of 6.2 persons per 10,000 population of licensed pharmacists announced by the World Federation of Pharmacy. The demand and growth space of licensed pharmacists in China is still relatively large.
(4) The licensed pharmacists are moving positively to the pharmaceutical service field.
According to the statistics of the practice field, the number of licensed pharmacists registered in pharmacies was 129,895, an increase of 53,373 compared with 2013, an increase of 69.7% over the same period of last year. The licensed pharmacists flowed clearly to the pharmaceutical service field; there were 30,995 licensed pharmacists registered in pharmaceutical wholesale enterprises. The year-on-year increase was 21.8%; the number of licensed pharmacists registered in pharmaceutical manufacturing enterprises was 3,090, down 12.9% year-on-year; the number of licensed pharmacists registered in medical institutions was 2,524, down 11.5% year-on-year.
The top ten provincial retail pharmacies have more than 5,000 registered pharmacists. In terms of year-on-year growth rate, Guangdong Province ranked the highest with 151.9%; followed by Henan with 99.7%.
(5) Low rate of licensed pharmacists in retail pharmacies
In 2014, if the number of licensed pharmacies in the retail pharmacies was calculated according to the average rate, the actual pharmacies actually distributed 0.3 people per household, which is higher than the 0.18 in 2013. From the National Drug Safety 12th Five-Year Plan to the 12th At the end of the fifth quarter, all retail pharmacies legal or principal managers must have the qualifications of licensed pharmacists, and all retail pharmacies and hospital pharmacies have licensed pharmacists to guide the rational use of drugs.
According to the statistics of the State Administration of Statistics, the number of retail pharmacies nationwide in June 2014 was 433,319, an increase of 660 compared with the end of 2013. Among them, the top three provinces in retail pharmacies are Inner Mongolia (1914), Hunan (1245), and Shandong (880); the top three provinces in retail pharmacies are Sichuan (-1909) and Anhui (- 901), Gansu (-663).
According to the population of 135.516 million in China in 2013, as of the end of 2014, an average of 3,127 people owned a pharmacy. Compared with the average 6,000 pharmacies service announced by the National Pharmaceutical Federation in 2012, it shows that pharmacies in China have opened too much. Some provinces and even one pharmacy serve an average of less than 2,000 people. The pharmacy has opened too much and the scale is too small, and the problem of difficult service improvement is outstanding.
(6) The quality of licensed pharmacists needs to be further improved
Among the registered pharmacists registered in 2014, there were 4,035 graduate students, accounting for 2.4% of the total registered population; 59,304 undergraduate degrees, accounting for 36% of the total registered population; 103,165 under the junior college degree or below, accounting for 62% of the total registered population %.
There are 79,436 pharmacy majors, accounting for 48% of the total number of registered persons; 34,141 Chinese medicine majors, accounting for 20% of the total number of registered persons; 52,927 other professional professions, accounting for 32% of the total registered population (see Figure 8). From the above data, among the registered pharmacists in 2014, low-education, non-pharmacy and Chinese pharmacy professionals also accounted for a large proportion, and it is a long way to improve the professional quality of licensed pharmacists in China and the pharmacy service skills.
