Although the long-term efficacy of laparoscopic colon cancer surgery has been confirmed by research, the safety, tumor radicalization and related key technologies of laparoscopic CME for colon cancer are still the focus of the industry and the outstanding problems to be solved in the application. .

The second-class award for scientific and technological progress led by Professor Zheng Minhua, "Key Techniques and Clinical Applications of Complete Colonic Membrane Resection for Laparoscopic Colon Cancer", was the first systematic and feasible feasibility and effectiveness of complete colectomy for laparoscopic colon cancer. Safety evaluation, the development of laparoscopic gastrointestinal tumor surgical specifications and the establishment of a training system are of guiding significance for promoting the standardized development of surgery.

The team took the lead in establishing a laparoscopic colon cancer CME intermediate approach anatomy to reduce the uncertainty caused by the lack of tactile guidance during surgery, thereby reducing postoperative complications. At the same time, the "flip-page" anatomy of CME was first reported to improve the safety of surgery. The emergence of a number of original research results has further consolidated the advanced position of laparoscopic gastrointestinal tumor surgery in the Asia-Pacific region.
