Low-cost feed for sheep fattening

(A) Beet Residue Sugar beet residue is soft, tender and juicy, good in palatability, and the sheep prefers food. Farmers in the vicinity of the sugar mill can use this part of the resources to grow and feed.
1. Feeding amount. At the beginning, each 7-8 kg per day, and gradually increased to 10 to 12 kg, large beet residue, can make the sheep have a sense of fullness, but the water content is as high as 80%, and the nutrient concentration is low. For this reason, the remaining sugar beet can be fully utilized instead of a portion of corn, and in addition there is still need to supplement the protein feed such as flax cake, sunflower cake, urea and so on.
2. Save the method. Sugar beet slag has high water content and is not easy to preserve. Therefore, the following two methods can be used. One is the mixed silage of beet pulp and wheat bran. During the operation, a layer of beet pulp, a layer of wheat bran, compaction and sealing can be stored for a long time. The second is open storage. Choose a high-pitched and dry place. Dig a drainage ditch around. Spread 1 ton of sugar beet slag and lay 1.0 kg of salt each time. Then use your foot to press it, or use roller to compact it, so that the juice can be gradually drained. Discharge can also achieve the purpose of long-term preservation. In open storage, from May to June of the following year, due to the high temperature, the smell becomes stinky, the color turns yellow, the quality deteriorates, and diarrhea and other diseases occur after eating.
3. Note. The biggest problem with feeding beet slag is large urine output, extremely wet ground, and prone to parasitic diseases. In the production practice, the method of paving sawdust can be used to improve, and the ground can be easily dried and the labor can be lighter, but it has a certain influence on the quality of the excrement.
(b) straw straw feed resources, with a wide range of sources, low prices and other advantages.
The comminuted straw and the concentrate feed are mixed with water and fed. If the crushed straw is finely crushed, the emptying speed in the gastrointestinal tract of the sheep is fast, and the digestion and absorption rate is reduced. Practice has proved that by adjusting the sieve size of the mill and using a sieve bottom with a hole diameter of 13 mm, the length of the straw can reach 1 to 1.5 cm, which is suitable.
2. Pay attention to freshness. The freshness of the forage should be ensured, and some of the forages are prone to mold deterioration due to long storage time or improper methods. After eating it causes digestive diseases, it is strictly prohibited.
3. Do a good job of storage. Different straw storage methods are different. In general, most of the straw storage is used. The size of earthworms depends on the number of sheep and the location of storage. Corn stalks should be standing against the wall or cross standing on the ground in order to be ventilated and dry and avoid stacking because of high water content.
4. Note. As the roots of corn stalk are coarse and hard, they are often left in the feed trough, which accounts for about 20% of the total amount. In order to reduce waste, coarse silage can be collected, dried in a ventilated place, and smashed by sifting. After feeding.
