With the development of science and technology, U-tube oscillating liquid density meter has been able to produce in China, and its quality can be comparable with similar foreign products. Because of its relatively cheap price and high precision, many industries are beginning to use such liquid densitometers. However, the accuracy of the u-tube oscillating liquid density meter has a great relationship with whether the oscillating tube is cleaned or not. Since the oscillating tube is not cleaned, the oscillation frequency of the empty tube has changed.
How can I clean the u-tube? The instructions only describe the most common cleaning steps. This is a good procedure for water-soluble liquids, but it is somewhat difficult to measure liquids that are adherent and insoluble in water. I have accumulated some experience in practice for the reference of my peers. Take the BHDM electronic liquid density meter as an example:
one. A cleaning agent that dissolves the measured liquid, such as an edible oil, can be selected and cleaned with carbon tetrachloride.
two. Open the pump wheel pressure closing device to make the entire catheter in conduction.
three. Take a 20ml medical syringe and remove the needle. Connect the syringe to the densitometer inlet tube.
four. Insert the drain tube of the densitometer into the cleaning solution.
Fives. The syringe is twitched to allow the cleaning fluid to enter the u-tube.
six. Push the syringe a little harder (not too strong to prevent damage to the u-tube) and push the cleaning fluid out of the U-tube.
Seven. This is repeated as described above, because there is a certain amount of pressure involved in the cleaning, and it is back and forth, it can be cleaned.
Eight. Then rinse the cleaning solution with water.
Whether the U-shaped tube is clean or not, you can see if there is any attachment in the u-shaped tube through the observation window. You can also see the value displayed after emptying the tube. If it is within 0.00××, it is almost cleaned, otherwise it is not cleaned. Clean, continue to clean.
