Taibai Top Bud is produced in Dongbai Mountain, the highest peak in Dongyang -- 1193.6 meters above sea level. According to ancient records, Dongbai Tea was famous in the Tang Dynasty and was listed as a tribute to the Ming Dynasty. Dongbai tea has three different names: Dongbai Maojian, Taibai Ding bud and Dongbaiding bud. Their common characteristics are: the buds are thick, the buds are revealed, the color is tender, the taste is fresh, the aroma is fresh, the leaves are yellow and tender, and the soup is clear and clean. The spring buds have green leaves with gold trim and orchids. The top buds are leafy, the hairs are obvious, and they are accompanied by orchids. The biochemical analysis of Taibai Dingxi is comparable to that of West Lake Longjing. In 1989, it was awarded the title of “a type of famous tea in Zhejiang Provinceâ€, and Dongbaiding Bud had won the high quality certificate of provincial tea. The white top buds were harvested between Qingming and Guyu. The middle and low mountain tea gardens are usually mined first, and the alpine tea gardens are later mined. When harvesting, the shoots are picked according to the standard of one shoot, one leaf to two leaves, and the length of shoots does not exceed 3 cm. The picked fresh leaves are picked up and then spread out, depending on the weather, humidity and fresh leaves. It is produced in the Dongbaishan and Dapenshan areas of Dongyang City, Zhejiang Province. The characteristics of tea are: full tea leaves, green color, buds obvious, taste fresh alcohol, refreshing aroma. As early as the Tang Dynasty was the tribute of the imperial court, Lu Yu recorded in the world's first tea monograph, The Tea Sutra. Tai Bai Ding buds won the international famous tea gold medal for two consecutive years in 2000 and 2001.
Dongyang Dongbai Mountain is located at the southern tip of Kuaiji Mountain. The main peak is Taibaijian, which is 1,195 meters above sea level. The tea plantation is located on the slope between the mountainside and the top 200 to 300 meters. The forests here are lush and the orchids are blooming. In spring and summer, thunderstorms and night rains are common, and the east-western night rains are the same as the Bashan night rains. The tea produced here has thick tea buds and a high content of amino acids.
