Professor Nelly said that VEGF-C protein can promote lymphangiogenesis, prevent myocardial damage and prevent inflammation. Because after a heart attack, immune cells clear dead or dead cells, but this can exacerbate inflammation and easily lead to heart failure. The researchers said that the new protein injection therapy is expected to be put into clinical use within five years.
