Ministry of Commerce temporarily anti-dumping pyridine in Indochina

Yesterday, the Ministry of Commerce issued the 30th Announcement of 2013, and the preliminary ruling decided to take temporary anti-dumping measures against imported pyridine originating in India and Japan.

According to the announcement, according to a survey conducted by the Ministry of Commerce, during the investigation period of this case, imported pyridine originating in India and Japan was dumped, and the pyridine industry in China was substantially damaged, and there was a causal relationship between dumping and substantial damage. Among them, the dumping margin of Indian companies was 24.6% to 57.4%; the dumping margin of Japanese companies was 47.9%.

In accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Anti-dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China", the Ministry of Commerce decided to implement temporary anti-dumping measures in the form of margin for the above products. Starting from May 28, 2013, when importing the above products, import managers should provide corresponding guarantees to the Chinese customs according to the dumping margins determined by the preliminary determination.

In response to the application of the domestic pyridine industry, the Ministry of Commerce formally placed an anti-dumping investigation on the aforementioned products on September 21, 2012.

Pyridine is a basic raw material containing pyridine ring pesticides and pharmaceuticals, and also an important raw material for daily-use chemical industry, feed, food additives, and radial tire industry. It can also be used as a special solvent in the pharmaceutical and industrial fields. As an intermediate raw material, the most widely used pesticides are pesticides, fungicides, herbicides, plant growth regulators, rodenticides and other pesticides. They can be used to produce paraquat, diquat, chlorpyrifos and other pesticide products. The field of medicine can be used to produce anti-tumor drugs, neurological drugs and other drugs.
