High humidity in the shed, beware of damp-loving diseases

As the humidity in the shed increased, diseases began to increase, and some moisture-loving diseases gradually became more serious. For vegetable farmers, when the humidity in the shed is high, the prevention of fruit diseases such as gray mold, cotton blight, and bacterial spot disease should be emphasized.

Botrytis prefers low temperature and high humidity environment, and it is easy to develop when the temperature is about 20℃ and the relative humidity is higher than 90%. Leaves, stems, inflorescences and fruits can be infected with pathogens. Sparse to dense gray or gray-brown mold grows in the above affected parts when the humidity is high.

Cotton blight mainly damages the fruit. Any part of the fruit can be infected. At first, it produces smooth light brown wetted amorphous or nearly round lesions near the shoulder or umbilicus or surface of the fruit, which quickly expands around, and some appear dark brown or light. The diseased part extends to most or the entire fruit surface, the flesh is rotten and brown, and the diseased fruit is easy to fall off.

Bacterial spot disease, also known as bacterial leaf spot disease, is the most serious damage to leaf edges and immature fruits. The leaves are infected, producing dark brown to black spots, often with yellow halos around them. The young green fruit is infected with dark brown dots scattered on the surface of the fruit, slightly higher than the skin, but the center is not sunken. When the fruit turns red, the small green spots on the fruit surface do not turn red.

On the basis of well ventilating and dehumidifying the shed, the prevention method should also be sprayed in time to prevent disease. To prevent diseases, choose chlorothalonil 500 times, succinate copper fertilizer 500 times, etc., which have better control effects. When the disease occurs, you can choose targeted agents. For example, gray mold can be used to prevent and control Kaiser, Prodyne, fludioxonil, etc.; cotton blight can be used to prevent and control cyanoxazole, dimethomorph, etc.; bacterial macula can be used Prevention and treatment of copper thiazide, copper quinoline and zinc thiazole.

When spraying, combined with chitin, amino acid and other foliar fertilizers can improve leaf resistance and reduce disease.
